Hiring fashion creators in Dubai

What to look for

Check that the creator's style matches your customer. Modest fashion, streetwear, luxury and high street reach very different people in Dubai. Look at how outfit posts are shot, whether the clothes are the focus, and whether followers ask where to buy. For abayas and modest wear, ask about Arabic captions and how the audience splits between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Typical formats

Common formats are styled Reels with one look or a try-on, seasonal campaigns around Ramadan, Eid, UAE National Day and Dubai Shopping Festival, boutique openings and Snapchat takeovers. Many creators fill those weeks early, so book four to six weeks ahead and send the pieces with the brief.

Check the UAE Advertiser Permit

  1. Since 1 February 2026, anyone creating advertising content from inside the UAE needs a UAE Advertiser Permit from the National Media Authority (NMA), paid or unpaid. (Gulf News, 1 Feb 2026)
  2. Gifted products, services and other non-cash benefits count as payment, so barter deals and hosted visits count too. (NMA service card)
  3. Holders must show their permit number on their accounts, and lawyers advise brands to ask for it before paying. (The National, 30 Jul 2025, Pinsent Masons)
  4. Any payment or commercial relationship must be clearly disclosed (Executive Regulations, Art. 33(7)). No hashtag is named: clearly disclose, for example "Ad" or "إعلان" plus the platform's paid-partnership label. (NMA legislation)
  5. Advertising without a permit: a written warning, then AED 20,000, then AED 50,000 (Cabinet Resolution 42/2025, which applies in free zones too). (NMA legislation)
  6. Permit numbers on pages here are self-declared by the creator. We found no public NMA lookup, so ask for the number and write it into your contract. (NMA services, Pinsent Masons)

FAQ

Fashion creators in Dubai:questions businesses ask

How much do fashion influencers in Dubai charge?

Published 2026 agency rate cards for one Instagram post or Reel overlap at about AED 500-1,500 for nano creators (1K-10K followers), AED 2,000-5,000 for micro (10K-100K) and AED 7,000-15,000 for mid-tier (100K-500K). Signed contracts are lower: medians of AED 500, 1,000 and 2,000 in one agency's report on 350 Dubai contracts (Yamammi). These are indicative ranges, not quotes. Every creator here lists their own rates on their page.

Do fashion creators keep the clothes?

Often, but it is not automatic. Say in the agreement whether pieces are gifted or must be returned. Gifted pieces count as payment under the UAE Advertiser Permit rules, so the post still needs clear disclosure. General information, not legal advice. Confirm on nma.gov.ae.

Are there modest fashion creators in Dubai who post in Arabic?

Yes. Many modest fashion creators in the UAE post in Arabic, English or both. Every page on this site lists the languages the creator posts in, and the Arabic language page lists them together.
