What to look for

Look for creators who show real results on camera: close-ups in daylight, before and after shots taken in the same light, and honest notes on what did not work. For salons and clinics, check that the audience lives near you, because a treatment is a local booking. Ask for saves and shares on past beauty posts; they show intent better than likes.

Typical formats

Typical formats are salon or clinic visits filmed as one Reel plus stories, product tutorials, get-ready-with-me videos and UGC for your own ads. UGC prices depend on how long you may use the video, so agree usage rights in months before you agree a price.

Check the UAE Advertiser Permit

  1. Since 1 February 2026, anyone creating advertising content from inside the UAE needs a UAE Advertiser Permit from the National Media Authority (NMA), paid or unpaid. (Gulf News, 1 Feb 2026)
  2. Gifted products, services and other non-cash benefits count as payment, so barter deals and hosted visits count too. (NMA service card)
